Dining Room
The dining room used to be the farm kitchen.
On investigation the fireplace is not a deep inglenook
but a quite shallow recess which
we have left
as we found it in 1985.
The bricks have been identified as hand made from a local Ibstock brickworks.
The great corner cupboard is elm wood and typical of Midlands Farmhouse furniture.
It was removed, stripped and restored in 1987, the shelves are original but it has a new back.
